Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
lein filed wrong
A lein was placed on my home without my knowing. It was place 9 months after the completion of the reroof. Can I get it remove since it was filed after the texas 4 month deadline and/or because I was not notified in any way.

Re: lein filed wrong
Possibly. It depends in part upon the roofing contract that you signed. You might be able to have the lien removed by suing (or threatening to sue) for cloud on title, if the contract didn't allow a delayed filing.
