Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
painter
I contracted a painter - we paid him 80% of the money and he completed about 50-60% of the work - now he will not come to finish the property. We have a contract and copy of all the checks we have given him - what recourse do we have to get him to finish?

Re: painter
You could send him a demand letter based on the wording of the contract. If you don't receive a response, you could file suit for breach of contract, along with some other claims.
