Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
payment of a completed job
i am a general contractor. i did two jobs for a company. the company was paid in full for the first job. the second job has not been completed. i completed the first job in full. the company is holding payment from the first job until i complete the second job. i hear this is illegal especially since the company was paid in full for the first job.
also, this company is co-mingling money on one job for another job, is this illegal?
please give grounds for a lawsuit if you can.

Move forward on establishing your M&M lien rights if you're still within the allowable time.
Call me and let's see where you are.
What the general contractor is doing is wrong.
