Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
room addition
if you hire a general contractor to add on a room to a house and they give you a lifetime warrenty but you cannot get them to respond to request for repair, if the company goes out of business can you sue the individual directly?

Depends upon the nature of the business entity you were dealing with. If a sole proprietorship or a partnership, then the individual remains liable. If a corporation or an LLC, only the business is liable.
