Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
Just started a business. I will be hiring a sub-contractor to handle my first remodeling job. I will oversee this project as the general contractor. What type of a letter of contract should I write for his service. I have already submitted a letter to the home owners and it has been accepted by the insurance company. Work scheduled to begin a week.
Thanks

you need to write a contract with the subcontractor that reflects your contract with the home owner. you need to also make sure that the sub contract contains all the things that they are expected to do, time for completion, insurance, pay schedule, and general behavement while on the project. These are just a few things that should be added to the contract.
