Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
time limitation for small claims filing
is there a time limitation for filing in small claims court for items delivered to be used to finish construction of a home? My company furnished whirlpool bathtubs for a home & we were never paid. We sent a certified letter to the builder more than 6 months ago. We now want to file in small claims court to try to recover our money. Is this feasible?

Re: time limitation for small claims filing
The time limit for suit on a contract, in Texas, is four years from the contract breach.
You should also get with an attorney familiar with Mechanics & Materialmans Liens to protect yourself in the future.
