Legal Question in Construction Law in Texas
water backup
my neighbor has built up where water drains from my house causing water backup. now i have buildings flooding. there is no way for me to change anything on my side. what can be done to get it fixed?

In TX it is illegal to change the flow of water to harm a neighbor. You can have an attorney demand that the neighbor fix the problem and possibly sue. Neighbors tend to take threats more seriously coming from an attorney.
