Based on what you have written, did anyone get injured in the car fire? If so, what are the extent of the injuries? Additionally, of the injured persons, did anyone seek medical treatment? Also, has a mechanic looked at the vehicle to determine what caused the fire? Finally, when did the vehicle catch on fire? These are very important questions that you need to think about. You may want to consider gathering up the required information to present a valid case to Ford and attempt a settlement. If the vehicle fire was a result of a manufacturing defect, then the manufacture may be liable.
