Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Hello, 3 months ago my wife and I had our wedding. We hired a friend of ours to do the photography. We paid $400 for all photos + photo book + 50 edited photos. She told us that within one month we would have all of our photos. Well as of today we still have no photos, we have tried contacting her multiple times and now she is ignoring us. This all happened in Texas where I use to live and I now live in Oregon. I was wondering what all I could sue her for in small claims? Could i sue for the expenses it will take me to travel back to taxes for court? Also could I sue for the money it will cost to re-take the photos etc. I just want to know what all i can do as this was suppose to be a very special time and now we have no photos to remember it so i would like to get all that i can. Thank you

Sue her for $400.
You'll have a hard time proving how much it would take to re-take the photos.
