Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
i got in an accident the other day 8/14/09 as i was coming through the intersection at the light on the feeder of 45 and w mt houston a truck was pulling out of a parking lot i was in the right lane when i came through the light and i seen him start to pull out of the parking lot so i got into the far left lane so he would have two lane to pull out and he pulled all the way out into my lane and i smacked into to him. he had two children and wife in the vehicle. the children were taken to the hosp i dont know how bad they were injured. i refused i was banged up on my knee and now experiencing dizzy spells. the other driver had no license or insurance. i have my license but my insurance lapsed a couple weeks ago. the officer on seen said that the guy was at fault. but my biggest problem right now is that i still owe abt $3900 on the car and the car is totaled. and honestly without my car im going to end up loosing my job because of the distance and no transportaion. the car lot i got the car from is a tote the note lot i need to know what my options are and what they can do to me...

Based on what you have written, it may be difficult for you to seek a case against the other driver for his fault in the accident.
