Accuracy in Credit Reporting
What defines ACCURATE AND COMPLETE information under the Fair Credit Reporting Act? And doesn't a creditor have to provide the consumer with proof of an account when the consumer requests it?

Re: Accuracy in Credit Reporting
What is accurate and complete can vary. It should show the account#, the credit limit, date opened and payment history for the past 12-18 months. The creditor has to provide you the information you wish if you are contesting the fact that the account is yours.
