Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Assault by night club Manager
I was at a local night club and was blaimed for spilling a beer. When asked to pay for the beer I refused because I had not ordered it, and the waitress bumped into me. The waitress told the mgr. that I had ordered the beer and would not pay, long story short the mgr used force outside the club to stop me from leaving. He hit me just below the left eye, and threw me to the ground. Three of my friends were with me and called the police. When they got there they resolved everything, and found out the waitress was lying and the police report states this. I was not hurt but was wondering if I have a case against the establishment or the manager working that night. If so maybe you could give me some names in Tarrant County, Texas. Thanks for any help

Re: Assault by night club Manager
Aside from the manager and possibly the waitress, you probably have recourse against the owners of the night club under the theory of responant superior.
