Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
I need a auto collission lawyer in Austin, Texas
HI. This is a short summary of my situation. I am currently 71/2 months pregnant. on feb.23, someone hit my car. it was their fault. my car was totaled as a result of the crash because the damages to the rear bumper were higher than my 1998 car. insurance co. sent their valuation and I did not agree with it. it has been 1 month since i told the insurance company that i did not accept their offer. have not heard from them since. in the meantime, i've been without my car and i have had to search for a new car. in addition i have been under a lot of stress. to make matters worst, my obstetrician has put me on limited bed rest because of a slightly effaced cervix. moving around, walking make the situation worst. my suspicions is that my condition was affected by my having to go back and forth for weeks to search for a new car. I have contacted the insurance company and explained what i said here and gave them a deadline. i told them that if i did not hear from them I woulod seek legal counsel. They have 2 days to respond. in the meantime, I want to speak with a lawyer to see what course of action I could take in this case.
Thanks

Talk to a lawyer now. Don't wait. The longer you wait, the less likely that the insurance company will settle for a reasonable amount. If you are hurting, go to a doctor. The insurance company is not intimidated by your threat to seek legal counsel; they talk to lawyers all day. Go now. If you want to speak with someone from our office in Austin call 512-440-1112.
