Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
auto dealer not honoring verbal agreement
we bought a 2nd hand BMW from a dealer. We paid $500 deposit and she verbally agreed to repair the door, center console and windshield. meantime, she also wasted our 2 trips to her office when the appointment has been prior made and confirmed. upon purchasing the car, we complained about her bad service but she became very agressive. to secure our deposit, we purchased the car reluctantly. we found she only repair the door & the console but the repair on the console was badly don. she agreed verbally again to re-fix it, but she didn't eventually. she claimed to repair the windshield but our workshop said it wasn't repaired at all. we complained to BBB. Her reply to BBB was we bought the car AS IS and she acknowledge had tried best to fix the console. she didn't mention about the windshield at all to BBB. since it's verbal between us, can I use her BBB reply letter as evidence we indeed have a verbal agreement with her prior purchase the car, even when she didn't mention about the windshield in her letter to BBB ? we want to claim the repair cost of windshield and console, which she didn't do properly and to claim the inconvenience of 2 wasted journey through a small claim. do i have a case to win here ? appreciate your advise

You have a snow ball's chance (or less) of winning this case. Sorry about your experience, but the law is on the side of commerce in this one.
