Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
auto downpayment
recently purchased used vehicle, downpayment was suppose to be $3000, the dealership only got $1,000, due to value of trade-in. all credit work was signed and turned in, dealership now wants car back due to lesser down. do i have to return the vehicle?

You need to read your contract and see what specific language is contained within the downpayment and trade-in sections. Also, there is more than likely a section discussing the finality of the contract and that the dealership may be able to demand a return of the vehicle due to non-compliance on your behalf.
