Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Used Auto Purchase
I recently purchased a truck only to later learn that it had been in a wreck. This was not disclosed by the dealership, nor was it in the Carfax report. They've offered to exchange the truck for something equitable, however we've yet to agree on what is equitable. Do I have any ground to stand on, or am I at their mercy?

Re: Used Auto Purchase
Actually, you are the one with the upper hand. They have experts in their dealership with experience in uncovering damage and they can go back after the guy who traded in the vehicle. They will dance you to death if you don't make them stand still or get help. Might be worth hiring a lawyer. Good Luck.
