Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Auto Repair, parts not replaced as represented
My car was repaired at a local shop, and several parts were replaced. A few days later, the car again broke down. I took it to another shop, who said the parts/repairs that I had paid for, had not been replaced/done, he even showed me the old, well worn, parts, still on my car. The first mechanic denies this and refuses to refund my money.

The Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act addresses this situation (Business & Commerce Code). Seek advice from a local lawyer.
