Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
If an auto shop has done work on your car that you told them not to and are saying you gave them authorization over the phone but dont have any paperwork with any of your personal info saying so. dl number, social number, etc. Am I still legally binded in paying them for it

Your problem is going to be that the auto shop will claim a mechanic's lien on the car, and won't release it until you pay them. The best remedy is to pay the bill - don't sign ANYTHING - and get your car back. Then sue their socks off.
