Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Automatically renewable service agreements
I entered into a 3 year waste disposal service contract and fulfilled my end fully. I gave the provider 30 days notice by certified mail that I no longer wanted to use them as my service provider, but forgot that the agreement stated that I must notify 60 days in advance. They are trying to say that my agreement renewed because of failure to notify within 60 days. Is this enforcable on there part? Is it even legal? I seem to remember something about automatically renewable cell phone agreements not being legal. Can someone help?
Thanks

It may very well be. "Evergreen" terms are recognized as legal.
