Is it legal for a dealership to take a vehicle back after 3 months and say that they could not find anyone to finance you?

Did you make any payments on the vehicle in the 3 months? Probably not, since you didn't have a finance contract. What happened to your trade-in? Did they give it back to you? What about a downpayment? Did they give that back to you? If not, their actions appear in violation of Texas consumer laws. Contact me by e-mail if you want to discuss this case further.
