Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Automotive Title
I have purchased a vehicle that has a title, but the title was not signed over to any of the previous owners. The original owner admits selling the automobile to someone else and also suggested I contact the owner they sold it to. The title is listed under the original owners name and she will not sign the title. Is it possible I can take legal action that would force the owner to sign the title over?

Re: Automotive Title
you have a claim against the person from whom you bought the car. It is a violation of law to sell a car to which you do not have the title.
