Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

Boat Repair

We paid someone to replace/repair the transome in our boat 11 months ago. Throught a second opinion we now find out that the repairs were not done as we were lead to believe and that the transome needs to be replaced/repaired in order to keep the motor from falling off the boat. Can we have the repairs done without giving him the chance to fix the transome and then sue him for our money back?

Re: Boat Repair

Based on what you have written, it appears that you should consider notifying the original repair shop in writing of the findings that the repairs were not complete. This will allow the original repair shop the opportunity to fix the problem. Dependent upon what the original repair shop does, would determine your next potential step(s). If my law firm can assist you with this legal issue or any other legal matter, please contact us at [email protected] to arrange for a consultation.
