Breaking a contract
In a moment of weakness I signed a three year contract with a fitness club. They have since moved, within the 10 mile limit. But I quite simply do not like the drive to this new place or the facility itself. Is there any way out of this contract? I signed the contract in July of this year and have been using the new place for about 4 months.
The club in question if Lady Fitness of America.

They may let you buy out of the contract if you ask, but those contracts are usually pretty well unbreakable.

Read the contract, and see if there are any terms which they have breached. Also look to see if there are provisions to allow you to buy out of the contract at a reduced rate. Even if there is neither, contact the manager and propose a buy out of the contract. If they reject you, try corporate headquarters. They prefer the good pub to a disgruntled client and little more money.
