Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Breeders Guarantee
I purchased a pup from a breeder at 5 weeks old one week later the pup died of parvovirus. I signed a 71 hour health guarantee(provided by breeder). The guarantee stated to have pup examined within that time. I didn't but when I did which was 2 days later he was diagnoised with parvo. I spent over $600 on medical and breeder refuses to except responsibilty. The virus is transmitted by other dogs. I never let him outside nor have I had any pet in my home. Do I have a case?

Re: Breeders Guarantee
The problem you have is that as part of the sale you agreed to have the dog examined and you didn't. Your only other recourse is if you can show that the breeder knew that the dog had parvo at the time he sold the dog to you and didn't devulge that information.
