Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Is there a buyers remorse law in Texas concerning auto dealers? I signed a lease agreement, but havent picked up and drove the vehicle off the lot yet. I failed to thoroughly read all the details on the lease during the time of signing but now that I have at home, there details that I dont like and therefore now experiencing buyers remorse. Is there a provision in Texas consumer law that allows me to back out of the lease if I havent drove off with the vehicle yet?

I think so. I don't do consumer law. I think you have 3 days. Call the auto dealer tomorrow. They have to tell you the truth.
Also, immediately check out the University of Houston Law School website -- Richard Alderman is a law professor there he is known as the People's Lawyer. I think he addresses it on his website.
You can also check out the website on the Office of the Texas Attorney General. Or call his office. His name is Greg Abbott. He has offices throughout Texas. His primary office is in Austin.
You might also call your local Texas legislator. They have assistants that might be able to give you current Texas law regarding consumer law.
You might also call your local Better Business Bureau.
Also, you could call whoever regulate automobile dealers.
I wish I could be of more help, but you need to do it immediately. But do not take possession of the vehicle. If you drive the vehicle off the lot, I think you are stuck with it.
