Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
New Car Dealer Damaged
I purchased a brand new 2007 GMC truck today (01/16/07) and as the dealer was pulling it around for me to drive off he cut a corner short and clipped the rear quarter panel on another car making a good size dent, he apologized and said he would fix it and I could pick up in a few days, I am not sure I want a new truck that has been repaired. What are my options.

Re: New Car Dealer Damaged
Unfortunately, you bought that truck, and the dealer is responsible for restoring the rear quarter panel to "like new" condition. You can ask if they'd replace the truck with another. They may, but are not obligated to do so.
