Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Car problems
I recently dropped my car aff for repairs, the shop was fully aware that the car should not be driven. They assured us it would not, the body shop and mechanic were next door to each other. Two days later when we go to get the car, its not even at the shop its down the street at the owners house (driven there) without our permission due to a possible radiator leak. Once the car was picked up we realized that a head gasket had been blown (nor like that when it was dropped off) and the owner didnt know (so he says) where the car was driven and how long or how far. One of his employees told us he had driven the car also. We ask the shop owner to pay for the repairs, he refused and the initial repairs were not done either, the car was there for two days. I would like to sue for the amount of the heads to be replaced, the shop did pay to have the car towed atleast 40 miles away to another shop, my choice. Can i sue the shop/owner

Re: Car problems
Yes. You'll want to sue in Small Claims for your damages.
