Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Car Title
I bought a truck in TX, I had a preapproval letter from my Credit Union for the loan. So when I got back home (MO) I was told the title and bill of sale would be sent to the DMV. However, I need the the paperwork to get Property Tax waiver before licensing. It has been 3 weeks, my temp tags are expired and I still don't have title, etc. I have called the finance guy at the dealer several times, leaving voicemail and talking to him in person, he was supposed to find out when and where it was sent. But still no answer from dealer. Who should I call to get some answers? I have called the DMV here in MO and they are no help, other than they looked and have not received any mail for me. Help... who can I get some action from? Do I have to take the car back?

The dealer should have helped you with this but TXDOT might also be helpful.
