Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Cellular phone companies
I feel that there is an injsutice in the cellular phone industry. I have a problem with Sprints customer service and insurance policy. I have insurance through Sprint I pay a fee every month and in return I am covered when my phone is lost or stolen and also damaged. I have reported one phone stolen and have the police reports to back it up. The issue is that now I have a phone that is broken and in need of being replaced. When I called to replace it I am told I will be dropped from the insurance and unable to get coverage for 12 mths after that. Sprint phones do not typically last 12months without something being wrong so that would not work. The problem I have is that there is no other phone insurance that I can pick up and to me that's unfair. This may sound silly, but there are other customer srvc issues that I feel I have no way of getting help on. I am not sure if this even belongs in this category, but I would like to know how can I make this issue a law suit. I have other issues dealing with sprint but don't have the space to submit all. If you could provide to me any direction your help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Cellular phone companies
Your issues are not silly, but it is usual for insurance to be cancelled when claims are made against the policy. I would have to see the policy and discuss this with you further to see if something can be done.
