Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Cleaning company
I engaged the services of a cleaning company to clean my house based on they said they would do 4 cleanings for $75 dollars each if I prepaid for 4 cleanings. Even though I have only paid $75 to clean biweekly I agreed to this because they said they do a great job.
When they came they quickly finished cleaning my house in1.5hrs eventhough they said it would take 2 hrs to clean a house my size. They did a substandard cleaning and when questione dpromised me that in the second cleaning it would be done properly as they were in a rush because it was the day befor Thanksgiving. They cashed my check that clearly said it was for 4 cleanings with dates of services to be performed clearly written on the check. They gave me Reciept that said it was for 4 cleanings and they did not write anything on the area which said additional services.
when it was the day for the next cleaning, they never showed up upon inquiry said that they covered the $300 for one service.

Re: Cleaning company
Sounds like a con to me. You could sue them in small claims court if you can find them.
