Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

In Nov. 05 we purchased a 60 inch Hitachi LCD television. Since then we have had to do several repairs (lamp replace, Audio problem, and the optical engine replaced. The manufactur waranty expired Nov. 06 but we have the extended waranty. The lamp has now gone out again and we cannot get any help from the store which we bought it and the waranty nor from Hitachi itself. They say we have to purchase the lamp ($250 plus service call) Isn't there some kind of ''lemon'' law that we can get our tv fixed or replaced at their expense?

You have to look at the written terms of your extended warranty.
The "Lemon Law" refers strictly to the purchase of a new motor vehicle.
