Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
I have a contract with a contractor along with a deposit. He has not fulfilled the contract nor has he answered my calls. What can I do?

Report him to the police and / or the DA's office. In some big cities such as Houston, if there is a contractor who gets lots of complaints, they will file charges.
Send a demand letter that he complete the project by X date, or return the money. Send this by certified letter, return receipt requested.
Notify the BBB.
Contact a lawyer who handles small claims and file a lawsuit.
