Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

contract on a vehichle signed!!!

I purchased a vehichle on 3/2- signed the contract and everything.. now the deeler is asking for the return of the vehichle due to missing info that the lender requested.. I was unaware of this.. and was not told by my sales man (basically i had another open car loan, and the salesman new this.. he said it wasnt a prob.. but the stipulation was that i show proof of the vehichle being payed off or traded in-i did neither-and was not told this by the salesman- now a whole week-n-ahalf later im having calls telling me to bring it back...can they do this
