Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

Contract/Bill of Sale

Bill of Sale is for 3 tanks for total cost of 2400.00 of which I only received 1000.00. The purpose of the transaction was for temporary financial relief to my then situation. Bill of Sale indicated that i would, in 60 days, provided details of how the remainder of the balance shd be paid. I never did this, since it was a mutual understanding between my employer and I, that I would pay back the 1000. The tanks have always been referred to as my tanks, considering the fact I brought the equipment with me when I was first employed by the company. It has been 15 years and I have left employer due to medical condition. I want to know if i have any rights to the tanks I left behind?

Re: Contract/Bill of Sale

I do not understand the transaction you have described. It is not passing the 'smell' test however. Did you keep the $1000? Did you sue for the balance of $1400? Were you in fact paid $1000 in order to defraud some creditor of the employer from access to the tanks?

It seems that both parties would be well-suited to not discuss this situation publicly, and to walk away from the issue.
