cosigning for loans

my wife initially cosign for a $3000.00 student for our son, he went back to the lender and get about 4 more loans without her knowledge and the lender gave it to him without notifiying her of those loan. now they want her to pay for them and she refused to because she didn't signed any contract authorizing them, is she responsible for them.

She may be, if the loan document she signed also covered future loans. Get an attorney to look it over.

Its impossible to say without reviewing the documents. She may have co-signed on a line of credit. Have your loan documents reviewed by an attorney.
