Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Countertop installed
I just had a granite countertop installed. First day of installation I advised contractor granite was cut incorrectly. Half of granite is running horizonally and half vertically. I paid for two pieces of granite slabs. Contractor refuses to redo. I stopped payment of last check written to contractor. He is now saying he will sue. Do I have to pay him for a sloppy job?

Re: Countertop installed
Let him sue and you can counter sue for his sloppy job or you could sue him for sloppy work. Take pictures to show the judge. Good Luck

He can sue you, and you can sue him. Have plenty of good pictures showing the improper work.
