Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

My daughter purchased a used vehicle a week ago today. The dealership she bought it from keeps giving her conflicting payment dates, indicated that the vehicle was completely serviced up to there standards and the vehicle has been everything but that. Now they are not only harrassing my daughter who purchased the used car but they are also harrassing my other daughter, who just went along for the ride (support) and I want to know what my daughters rights are under the Texas Used Car Laws? She wants to return the vehicle this evening after she gets off work. For a solid week straight she keeps getting the run around/lies and doesn't get a straight answer from anyone, including the finance director. I basically need to know what her rights are, as I don't want this debt (1 wk old) hanging over her head or credit. NOTE: She has a 2 yr old son so she can not afford to get taken advantage of, if its not to late. Thank you.....Mother in Texas

Based on what you have written, depending upon what agreements or papers your daughter may have signed will ultimately determine her available options. Your daughter should ensure that she reads the papers and fully understands how one-sided automobile purchase agreements are prior to putting her signature on any one of them.
