Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Daycare is retaliating
I made a complaint about my daycare's director to the state licensing dept. By process of elimination, they figured out it was me who made the complaint. They are now refusing service to my child by claiming that our family is not a good fit for the daycare. I feel I am being retaliated against for my complaint. I love my child's teachers and do not want to leave the daycare. There is nothing in their contract that says they have the right to terminate service without cause. Have they violated any Texas statutes by refusing service?
Thank you for your time!
