Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Debt collection
I am being sent debt collection letters every 6-8 mo. for credit card debt. I send back a validation request cert mail. 3 years have gone by. Debt is 5600.00. Live in Texas. Is there strong chance they will file lawsuit? Is there simple way to beat it in court? Or is it too much trouble for them to even file a suit?

Re: Debt collection
It's impossible to predict if this particular creditor will file suit to collect the $5600. With some variation, they have 4 years from the date of last activity.
