Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Deceptive trade practices
Had a 2001 Saturn which was free of debt, took to local dealership and they gave me false information and quote of $1100. Due to this information I traded my car and purchased new vehicle taking a $1,000 hit on my trade. Subsequently discovered nothing wrong with my car. Do I have basis for deceptive trade practice suit?

Re: Deceptive trade practices
Possibly. But you would have a very great problem in proving the deception and damages.
