Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
defamation and release of private information
a Ford Motor Credit Rep told three people in a salon that I was late on my car payments and Ford was going to repo my cars, so if they would like to make some cash call ford and tell them where the cars where. Then she continued to give them to location info. she told them because she was an employee she could not get the reward but she did mind letting someone else make some cash. She continued by telling them not do do business with me because I have bad credit.

Re: defamation and release of private information
It isn't defamation if it is true, but you may have a claim for infliction of emotional harm, not that it would bring much in damages. You should probably move on.
