Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

Delivery of New Automobile

We purchased a vehicle on 9/17/05. The vehicle was owned by the dealer as an auto show car. I also purchased an extended bumper-to-bumper warranty and a paint/leather warranty. Upon inspection of the vehicle on 9/17/05, I found some new scratches to the paint, a small leather seat tear and other minor flaws. I demanded a fix that same evening. The salesman asked me to bring the car back for detailing and fixes since we were brigning it back for a window tint and DVD installation. The car was returned 9/20/05 for these services. It has been over 3 weeks and at least 6 different excuses as to why I don't have my new car. Still no car in sight, it's 10/11/05. I have tried talking to the salesman, sales manager, general manager. Supposedly, the car was repainted and the leather tear was repaired. What are my rights? We filed a complaint with the BBB. Should I utilize my Pre-paid Legal Services? Thanks!

Re: Delivery of New Automobile

If you have PPD legal services, maybe they can write a demand letter for you to the dealer.
