Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas

Ebay Item Never Sent

Hi,

I recently won a cable modem for my computer in an auction on ebay. The seller had great feedback from everyone he had bought and sold to, so I had no hesitation bidding. Once I won (2/8/07), I sent him a Money Order (money gram) via certified mail. I received the return receipt showing he signed and recieved my payment 2/12/07. He never sent my item. I have e-mailed him multiple times and filed a dispute on e-bay, but still nothing. He lives in KY, I live in TX. I would like to send him an ''intent to sue'' letter maybe to scare him into sending me my item or a refund. Where would I find info on that, or better yet a sample letter to go by, and what else can I do?

To be taken seriously, the letter would need to come from an attorney. My firm focuses on Internet and entertainment law.

You need a lawyer that practices in the county where the debtor lives. An intent to sue, out of Texas, would be ignored.
