Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
ford plastic manifold class action suit
i have a 1999 lincoln towncar that is now leaking (June 2008) at the plastic manifold
i just found out about a class action suit witch was settled Dec. 2005 & a claim had to be made by Mar 2006
i can't say i was never contacted about this matter but i can also say i don't remember it either
i also don't recall being contacted about the very short time frame to act on this settlement
i feel i have nowhere to turn to & am going to have to pay for the repair all by myself
am i not intitled to my fair share of the settlement even if the time has expired & if not can i sue Ford myself & can i win
we all have our own financial problems no matter what your income level is but i am really struggling & have thought about claiming bankruptcy so a $1500.00
repair will really really hurt & be hard to pay for
i sure hope that there is a glimmer of a chance for me
if anyone can help please reply
thank you for your consideration

Re: ford plastic manifold class action suit
To be part of the class action, you have to sign up to participate. Now it's too late to do that, so if you want to sue Ford by yourself, go for it. Then they will show you what real troubles mean. They don't pay your claim for a reason. Good Luck.
