Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Found a knife in my Subway sandwich
I went to a local Subway sandwich shop on March 24 and got a sandwich. When I got home and bit into the sandwich I discovered that they somehow left the knife in the sandwich. I contacted the company by the e-mail address which was provided on a quality service note in the bag. I have written 5 e-mails actually, the last being last night. The ONLY response I have gotten is ''Contact our insurance agent at XXX-XXXX.'' I have spoken with him and all he said he can do is refer me to an insurance company in Dallas to take a statement. What can I do about this since the owner refuses to contact me about this?

Re: Found a knife in my Subway sandwich
What is it you want to do?
If you want to file a claim, contact the insurance company as instructed.
If you want to chastise the owner, find the name and address of the owner and either write to him or call him at his home.
If you simply want to return the knife, go to the store where you bought the sandwich.
