Friend is asked to watch animal and loses animal
I wanted to know what I do and where I go to file a claim on my former friend of 7 years. I asked him to keep my cat for a day and he agreed. He has kept my cat 2 time before this. I told him before I left his house not to let his window up or the cat would get out. He says he cracked his window and my cat got out. It is a 1yr. old non-nutered male Siamese. Missing since May 10th.

Small claims court would be the court for claims under $5,000.00. I'm sorry about the loss of your pet.
