Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
a friend of mine was at a low point in life and was in need of some help so i step up to the plate and loan them a few items namely a washer, dryer, and a refrigerator. Then things took a turn for the worse and they were being evicted,so they go to a public storage and rent a small space to save (pictures, clothes, childrens toys, etc)and MY washer ,dryer, fridge. It turns out the storage was not paid and now the place wants to auction off all the stuff INCLUDING mine ,i hate to see someone lose all lifes little thingsd and i REALLY hate to see MINE go with it.Is there any way to stop the place from selling all thier things or at least the things that are MINE ??

You can hire a lawyer and go through the courts and ask for injunctions, etc., but it will be cheaper just to show up and bid on your stuff. You might be surprised at how cheaply you can get it.
