Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
we gave a family member money to purchase a car from a auction. And we have not had delievery yet and it's been two weeks. What steps can we take phone calls have been attempted just keep getting run around.

If phone calls don't work, then stop using the telephone.
Write him a PAPER LETTER and mail it to him. Tell him that on or before March 26, you expect to have (1) the car or (2) your money back. Include a return address AND your phone numbers in the letter. Put a DATE on the letter.
And on March 27, if you don't have the car or the money, sue him. He's a crook.
