Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Health Club Restictions in Texas
I am trying to get out of a Bally Total Fitness health club contract for 3 years in Houston, TX. If I move 25 miles or further from any Bally club, that seems to be the only way to get out. What restrictions does Texas law have on this and on cancelling out of health club contracts in general?

Re: Health Club Restictions in Texas
Last time I checked, the contract itself sets forth the requirements for cancellation. If the contract doesn't allow it, you can't do it.
