Legal Question in Consumer Law in Texas
Hull & Associates (Judgment)
I recently went to court behind this debt and it was won by them. The judge advised that I have 30 days to work something out with them, it's an old Discover Card. Well here is the issue. It has jumped from 9965 up to 13854.00 and they are not willing to work out anything with me. What is the worst that they can do?

Bankruptcy law was changed a year or two ago so now you can not get out of credit card debt. I don't know off hand if the change is limited to debt incurred after the change, but my guess is that it covers all outstanding debt. So you will need to get the best deal you can with them. Maybe try one of these debt assistance companies.
